Camden Nursing Care
Our staff includes both Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) who can provide skilled nursing care.
Licensed Practical Nurse – a nurse educated in practical aspects of hands-on nursing. LPNs are licensed through the state of South Carolina and can perform all the duties requiring a practical nursing license. Our LPNs are also prepared to help with Activities of Daily living in conjunction with the health needs to the patient, like light housekeeping reflective of patient care.
Registered Nurse – a nurse educated to be in charge of more complex medical issues, as well as serve young clients. This includes complex medical management, assessments, and even invasive monitoring and infusions. Like our LPNs, our RNs can also assist with Activities of Daily living that reflect the needs of the client, such as light housekeeping and meal prep.
In addition to a clients usual care needs, Nightgale RNs are also licensed to providing Nursing Supervision, where the RN can provide oversight and develop care plans alongside each client’s multidisciplinary care team, including their physician, themselves, any responsible parties, the members of the medical team, the Nursing Administrator, and any other caregivers.
While our LPNs are usually needed for the adult population, RNs are needed for the under-21 population that face complex medical issues and therefore require additional assessment skills. Especially with infants and young children, RNs have the additional training and experience (including at least one year of work in a setting where children were being cared for) to properly administer care to pediatric clients.
Our private duty nurses, both LPN and RN, can provide care directly to you or your loved one at home for 8 hours or more a day! With staying home consistently being the preferred choice of clients across the nation, Nightingale’s nurses can make sure there is no need for clients to enter a nursing home.
